The PPGGP has been offered in partnership with public institutions that finance the execution of the courses and reserve vacancies in the selective processes for its servers. In addition to the vacancies reserved by the partners, in all open classes it is guaranteed the offer of places for candidates from social demand. It is important to note that joining the Program is through approval and classification in a widely publicized selection process and that the reservation of places by partner institutions does not imply the automatic acceptance of their candidates. The opening of two classes also took into account the high demand for the course and the needs diagnosed by the Public Policy Incubator of the Amazon (IPPA) in order to support and strengthen the training of public managers in the Marajó Region, Pará, which presents extremely low development and socio-environmental sustainability. Thus, two selection calls were launched in 2013. One of the selective processes launched in 2013 was the Federal University of Prá (UFPA) and the Federal Rural University of Pará (UFRA). The program continues to work towards new partnerships, aiming to expand its range of activities in the Region.
